Single sheet, folded to form 4 cr. 4to pages; Commodore Press Print, Lilydale, 1981. *Loosely inserted is a printed invitation card, addressed to Miss M. Linigin. The Homage to Melba was to commemorate the anniversary of the diva's death, and was followed by a pilgrimage to her tomb in Lilydale Cemetery. The Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre Company was founded in 1976 by local residents Russell Johnson and Geoffrey Page, and is based in the Lilydale Athenaeum building. Melba sang at the Athenaeum Hall on four occasions. Russell Johnson's extensive collection of Melba memorabilia was in 2005 donated to the Lilydale museum.
