Pp. xxii+332+xvi+404, 13 plates with tissue guards (including frontispiece to Volume I), 3 black & white text illustrations (2 full page), the half-titles printed in red and title pages printed in red & black; red cloth, spines lettered in gilt, boards decorated in blind, both volumes slightly bruised at head of spine, edges of boards a trifle rubbed, a couple of small damp spots to upper board of Volume II; dust wrappers, slightly soiled and worn, Volume I torn at edges, with large piece missing from head of backstrip and two tape repairs on reverse, the edges of Volume II chipped and split, both backstrips browned; outer leaves slightly offset, a little light foxing and occasional faint soiling; The Navarre Society, London, n.d.
