Pp. 196(last colophon, verso blank), with 133 illustrations of which 34 are tipped-in plates, 3 being signed by the artists (2 by John Barclay Godson, both of which are Remarque proofs, and 1 by Ella Dwyer), index; cr. 4to; crocodile patterned cloth with printed paper label on spine and on upper board (and spare label tipped-in at end), the boards a trifle sprung, edges slightly rubbed; uncut; edges of leaves occasionally slightly browned and brittle, a little light foxing and occasional faint offsetting from some of the hand-tipped bookplates; privately printed at Beacon Press, Sydney, 1932. Edition de luxe, being one of 120 numbered copies, signed by the author.
