Single sheet, folded to form 4 octavo pages, printed in light orange/brown: 1. cover with title and illustration of a jester sitting on a tall stool reading within a rectangular decorative box; 2: blank; 3. poem, dated Sydney, 1940, within a typographical border; last blank; [The Sunnybrook Press, Sydney, 1940?]. *One of three poems written in praise of Tyrrell's book shop in Sydney (the others being Henry Lawson's' Song of Tyrrell's Bell; and In Tyrrell's Bookshop by Kenneth Slessor). Roderic Quinn (1867-1949) established a reputation as a popular poet, short story writer and novelist in the 1890s. An anthology of his poetry was published by Angus & Robertson in 1920, and from 1925 he received a pension from the Commonwealth literary fund. Item #136395
