FLIGHT INTO DANGER.

Souvenir Press, London, n.d.[1971?]. Reprinted. *Novelisation of the television script which launched Arthur Hailey's writing career. The story of a plane flight in jeopardy was first broadcast in Canada in 1956, then adapted as a novel by John Castle (a pseudonym for Ronald Payne and John Garrod), with Hailey credited as co-author. For its American publication, in 1959, the book was retitled Runway Zero Eight. This edition retains the original UK publication date (1958) on the copyright page, but is a later reprint, with reference to Hailey's 1971 novel Wheels on the back panel of the dust wrapper.
