Pp. xxxvi+436(last blank), mostly printed double column; f'cap. folio; later (but not recent) full navy leather, lettered and ruled in gilt, the boards a trifle sprung, edges lightly rubbed, spine slightly faded; all edges sprinkled red; binder's pencilled stub tipped-in at front, minor production (trimming) fault to bottom fore-corner pp. 1/2, occasional light soiling; William Applegate Gullick, Government Printer, Sydney, 1911. *Albert Piddington (1862-1945) was appointed royal commissioner in 1911-12 'to study three interrelated issues: whether there prevailed a labour shortage, working conditions of women and children, and apprenticeship.
