First edition, limited to 1489 numbered copies. *Although the transcription volume is misbound, the text is complete. The diarist describes in detail Britain's' freshwater fish and the methods he used to catch them. The plates, reproducing his original sketches (mostly watercolours) are of fish, flies and baits.
