First edition, limited issue, being one of 60 numbered copies thus, printed at the Bird & Bull Press and including an original etching from J. F. Loubat'sThe Medallic History of the United States of America. *Henry Morris's own copy, with a signed presentation inscription to him from John W. Adams on the upper free endpaper (dated 9/12 2007). Loosely inserted is a folded copy of the original prospectus, which explains: 'The two centuries that lie between the American Revolution and the present day are neatly bridged by the inclusion of a leaf from a book published in 1878. Joseph Florimond Loubat's Medallic History of the United Statesis the spiritual ancestor of the present volume.'. Item #128624
