Sir Charles Bell (1774-1842) was a Scottish surgeon, anatomist, physiologist, neurologist, artist, and philosophical theologian. He was the first professor of Anatomy and Surgery at the College of Surgeons in London and helped establish the Medical School at the University of London. Later he was Professor of Surgery at the University of Edinburgh. Item #148359
