Interspersed with some particulars, relative to the author's remarkable interview with his father on the coast of Malabar. Performed n the Years 1781,82, 83 and 84. Pp. 232; post 8vo; later half calf, spine with gilt ruled raised bands and gilt lettered black leather title label, marbled papered boards; later (but not recent) endpapers, hinges slightly chipped at extremities, the half-title and title pages reinforced with later backing sheets, top fore-corner torn from pp. 83/4, some foxing, browning and soiling throughout; printed for the author and sold by W. Baynes, London, 1797. First edition, second issue? ESTC T139720. *From the collection of Australian bibliophile Harry B. Muir [with no ownership markings]. Lacking the frontispiece portrait.
