First edition. *John Carter's copy, with his pencilled signature (dated May 1959) on the upper free endpaper and some underlining or markings (including annotations to back flap of dust wrapper) in his hand. Later from the library of David Levine, Sydney, with his book label on the upper pastedown. John Baskerville became Printer to the University of Cambridge in 1758.
