First Edition, first (U.K.) issue. *An important work which contains, among numerous other narratives, accounts of explorations which are virtually unprocurable in original form, (e.g., those by William Carron, William Hann, James Mulligan, George Dalrymple, Donald Laing, J. T. Embley and others), including the not unimportant explorations of the author. The early voyagers, Quiros, Cook, Bligh, the 'Pandora', Flinders, etc. are also included.
