Covers the conflicts of the Seven Years War (1756-1763), including the battles of Kollin, Rosbach, Breslau, a.o. The maps were engraved by J. Weibel, F. Wexelberg, and Jean Renard, Vienna. Antoine Henri Jomini (1779-1869) was appointed staff colonel in 1805 by Napoleon and in 1813 became Marshal Ney's chief of staff. Jomini was one of the most celebrated writers on military thought. His Traite des grandes operations militaires was first published in 1804-1805. Item #180257
