My book trade archives include Stuart Sayer’s Writer and Reader columns, published in Melbourne’s The Age newspaper, dating from July 1965 to July 1986. They featured articles predominantly about Australian booksellers and publishers, including members of The Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers (ANZAAB).
This interview was with Melbourne bookman, John Holroyd OAM [1911-2000], whose bookselling career spanned more than 50 years. John was an Honorary Life member of ANZAAB.
